Ingredients:
STARS
- 1 box white cake mix
- 3 egg whites
- 1 cup water
- ⅓ cup oil
- red food colouring
- blue food colouring
CAKE
- 1 box white cake mix
- 3 egg whites
- 1 cup water
- ⅓ cup oil
- 32 oz vanilla frosting
- Sprinkles
Recipe:
- In a bowl, combine the cake mix, egg whites, water, oil and mix.
- Divide the batter into two bowls. In one bowl add a few drops of red food coloring, and in the other, add a few drops of blue food coloring.
- Pour both batters into two seperate piping bags.
- In a baking pan, pipe the batter in rows alternating colors.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-20 minutes.
- Once cooled, using a 2-inch star-shaped cookie cutter, cut out shapes from the cake.
- In the meantime, prepare the other white batter by combining the white cake mix, 3 egg whites, 1 cup water and oil.
- Transfer the batter into a piping bag.
- In a cake pan, align the stars standing up back to back, and cover with white batter.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Frost cake, top with sprinkles and enjoy!
