From Morristown Police Capt. Stuart Greer:

On March 26th, 2021, Morristown Police were called to a commercial business at 90 South St. on a report of a theft which had taken place earlier that day.

According to the complainant, the south + pine american eatery had barrels of used cooking oil stored in the rear of the building.

At approximately 2:15 pm on this date, a grey van occupied by three males backed up and removed the barrels from the rear of the restaurant.

The complainant advised that at the time of the incident, employees believed that the oil was being removed by their contracted service and therefore did not have any contact with the individuals in the van.

Upon learning that the oil had not been removed by their contracted service, employees contacted police to report the theft.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Morristown Police at 973- 538-2200.
