East Precinct detectives are again working to identify persons involved in theft from vehicles in which stolen credit cards are later used at nearby businesses.
Last Thursday evening a woman reported that her car was broken into at Shelby Park in East Nashville. She arrived at the park at 5:45 p.m. and when she returned around 7 p.m. she found that her front passenger window had been broken out. Her backpack, containing credit cards, had been taken. The cards were later used at Dollar General, 601 Gallatin Avenue, and Kroger, 711 Gallatin Avenue.
Anyone who recognizes the two men who used the stolen credit cards in the attached surveillance photos is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
