Jazz Gumbo: Salute to Women Vocalists

6:30 p.m. Monday, July 18. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Jazz Pensacola board secretary Carolyn Tokson invites everyone to join her birthday celebration at this special salute to women vocalists. The featured vocalists are Josephine Mayo, Ellen Vinson, Jill Butler, Saundra Daggs, Holly Shelton, Isabelle Petersen, Rosie Butler, Kathy Lyon, Donna Blackmon and Tori Vinson. Monday Night Blues

7 p.m. Monday, July 18. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Seville Quarter and the Blues Society of Northwest Florida are bringing the “blues” back to the Seville Quarter Entertainment District. Bands on the Beach

7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 19. Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach, Pensacola Beach. Pensacola Beach's popular outdoor summer concert series with performers for every musical taste. Featuring a lineup of regional artists, Bands on the Beach delivers an eclectic musical experience throughout the entire summer. This week features John Hart and The Prince Brothers. Arc Gateway’s 24th annual Crab Cake Cook-off

6 p.m. Wednesday, July 20. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. The Crab Cake Cook-off is one of Pensacola’s most iconic and well attended fundraisers of the year. Restaurants and chefs from across the Gulf Coast are invited to compete for the best crab cake bragging rights. Guests are given the chance to sample world-class crab cakes, indulge on desserts and sip wine and beer while surveying an extraordinary silent auction and art made by Arc Gateway’s very own clients. Mixing with The Stars

5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 21. 5eleven Palafox Event Hosting, 511 S. Palafox St. Mix it up with a few of Pensacola's celebrities as they are paired with local bartenders to create a Hendrick's Gin cocktail. The teams have been working behind the scenes, crafting their concoctions with the hopes of taking first place to donate the biggest pot of money to their charity of choice. No matter who wins, every chosen charity will receive a donation. Currently, the local stars include Ben Fishbein (Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research), Teri Levin (Gulf Coast Kid's House), Addie Murdoch (The Secret Place), and Walker Wilson (OnBikes Pensacola). $40 to $100. Tunes by the Dunes Concert Series

7 p.m. Thursday, July 21. Navarre Beach Marine Park, 8705 Gulf Blvd., Navarre. Tunes by the Dunes is a free spring concert series held on Thursday evenings. Enjoy a relaxing evening for live local music and food vendors. Spectators are encouraged to bring their own beach blankets and lawn chairs. Hosted by the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. The Revolutionists

7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 21 through 24. The Gordon Community Art Center, 306 N. DeVilliers St. Arguably the most popular and prolific American playwright today, Lauren Gunderson's The Revolutionists is set amid the Reign of Terror during the French Revolution. It is a comedic and moving tale about a quartet of women who historically existed in the same time and place but never actually met. Three of the characters were women who lived during the French Revolution and the fourth is a compilation of many female revolutionaries in Saint Domingue, the nation we now call Haiti. Movies in the Park

6 p.m., pre-show; sunset, show; Friday, July 22. Community Maritime Park, 301 W.  Main St. The annual Movies in the Park series returns to Community Maritime Park. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to spread out on the lawn to watch a family-friendly movie underneath the stars. Concessions from local food truck vendors will be available for purchase, and outside food is also welcome. Pets and glass bottles are prohibited at the event. The Glorious Gala Of Gaga

8 p.m. Friday, July 22. Vinyl Music Hall, 2 S. Palafox St. MicoPeco presents The Glorious Gala Of Gaga: A Night of Music and Glamour inspired by Lady Gaga featuring The Monster Ball Drag Show and hosted by Pensacola drag royalty, Monica Heart. Dance along with Lady Gaga’s greatest hits spun by Vinyl’s resident DJ. During the Monster Ball, Pensacola’s best drag queens will perform Lady Gaga’s hits across two shows. Highway 87 Krafty Kids’ Expo

9 a.m. Saturday, July 23. 1900 Highway 87, Navarre. Children from across the Navarre area invited to get a taste of entrepreneurship. This event will provide a safe space for kids to try their hand at running a business. The marketplace will showcase up to 25 businesses, offering everything from jewelry to food and snacks. Concert spectators are invited to bring coolers and lawn chairs.
