TWIN CITIES, MN — It's no secret there's a crunch in Minnesota's housing market right now. With demand for homes extremely high and the supply very low, the cost of buying and renting is through the roof.
The housing crunch is particularly evident in the western half of the Twin Cities metro, which is home to the state's most expensive cities to live in.
According to Niche.com, there is no more expensive city in Minnesota than Excelsior, where the medium home value is $617,100. That is nearly three times the national average.
