BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Right about now, you might be feeling like you've tried everything to stay busy during quarantine and the COVID-19 pandemic. A local business owner wants to help you try something new through his virtual cookie decorating classes.
"It’s a great opportunity to show people that you can still have fun during quarantine and baking is one of those things," Justin Salinas, the founder of 'Cake It With Justin', said.
Justin has joined 23ABC for Foodie Friday once before, when he was launching his in-person classes that took place weekly. Now, he's had to adjust his business to a virtual-model, allowing people to pick up their cookie or cake it, and join the class from their own home via Facebook Live.
Justin gave 23ABC a preview of the virtual classes, showing us how to decorate some beach-themed cookies.
If you're interested in learning more about his class schedule, prices and how to pick up your cookie kit, you can visit his website here.
