Asking $25 million, 435 Marina Blvd. is the most expensive listing ever to hit the Marina - and by a substantial sum. The current record is held by 3560 Baker, which sold for $8.7 million at the end of June last year, according to MLS data.

But listing agent Camilla Moshayedi says the property, built by a real estate developer who also happens to be a competitive sailor, earns that unheard of asking price based on its raft of unique amenities. "The home is truly unprecedented for the area and offers countless rare features, a striking design, unobstructed views and unparalleled scale," she said. "It is unlike any home built in the Marina before and will be difficult to replicate," she said.
