Kensington Palace Gardens is the UK's most expensive street - HouseBeautiful.com

Kensington Palace Gardens in London has been crowned the most expensive street in the UK, reveals Zoopla's annual 2020 Rich List.
Kensington Palace Gardens took the top spot for the 12th year in a row, where the average property price comes in at a whopping £35,991,500. It's no surprise houses on this street are the costliest in the country, as residents include steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal and Chelsea F.C. owner Roman Abramovich.
Courtenay Avenue and Grosvenor Crescent came second and third respectively, both with house prices just shy of £20 million. While many streets have made the list for a second time, there are some new entrants for this year including Chelsea's Mulberry Walk and St Albans Grove in Kensington.
Outside of the capital, Montrose Gardens in Leatherhead, Surrey, has the heftiest price tag of £6,037,000. In second place is Titlarks Hill in Ascot, Berkshire, with an average property value of £5,995,000, while Portnall Rise in Virginia Water took the third spot.
The Rich List is Zoopla's definitive rundown of Britain's most expensive streets based on average house prices. There are now 12,545 streets in Britain where the average property value is £1 million or over; up 30 per cent in within five years.

'Zoopla data shows where housing stock and prime locations converge to create some of the most expensive addresses in the UK. Clusters of expensive homes are not unusual as the cache of an area starts to create an appeal of its own, which can factor into what a home is really worth,' says Gráinne Gilmore, Head of Research at Zoopla.
'London dominates the country's prime property market, but it is being challenged by the South East in terms of the number of million pound streets, reflecting the rise in demand and pricing seen in this market, as well as its housing stock mix and its geographical size.'
