Housing in Colorado is insane right now in terms of how expensive it is in a lot of places, Weld County included.
There are some nice finds out there that can possibly fit in your budget, but you may have to sacrifice a thing or two to make it work.
In this particular case, it's a bit out of the way. Now let me start out by saying that I'm not including townhomes, condos, manufactured homes, or 55 and over communities. I'm simply looking at detached, single-family dwellings.
$195,000 is a lot of money right? Well, yes and no. When it comes to having that in say a bank account, absolutely. When it comes to buying a house, not even close, especially here in Colorado. But if you're willing to reside off the beaten path and don't mind commuting, this home in Grover, Colo. could work out quite well.
Let's face it, you're not going to find many or any houses for under $200,000, at least single-family detached homes, that are standing. If they are, most of those places probably won't have all four walls up or may have a few holes in the ceiling and/or floor. Or perhaps they're infested with creatures. But in this case, none of those things apply.

All of that, and you'll be living practically next to Pawnee National Grasslands.
It's about an one hour drive from downtown Windsor so if you're will to commute and want a nice, cozy place to call home without breaking the bank, this could be the perfect spot.
