Zippy's is back at it again with a crazy cake that looks nothing like cake - Hawaii News Now

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Another bizarre Zippy’s cake is getting buzz online.

They first hit dessert gold with their giant spam musubi cake last September. It was a sweet buttercream cake layered with strawberry filling

Now they’re back at it again with a sweet twist on another local favorite.

They’re introducing for a limited time the Loco Moco Cake! It fully resembles a hamburger patty, sunny side up egg over rice with loads of gravy!

But it is far from savory. The rice is made out of Rice Krispies. The beef patty and eggs are white cake covered in fondant, and the gravy is sweet caramel sauce.

Just like the spam musubi cake, the loco moco cake is available only for a limited time on April 23 and 24 at Oahu Zippy’s locations.

They are only accepting in-person orders due to high demand and low supply. They are available on a first come, first serve basis at the bakery counter.

The cake sells for $22.75.
