Two historic John Staub homes top list of Houston's most expensive properties sold in June - Chron.com

Two historic homes designed by famous Houston architect John Staub have taken the No. 1 and No. 2 spots of the city's most expensive homes sold in June, according to data provided by the Houston Association of Realtors. 

The No. 1 home is a 1937 New Orleans-style masterpiece modeled after Houston philanthropist Ima Hogg's personal residence. The No. 2 home is listed under the National Register of Historic Places and was originally built for Nina Cullinan, the daughter of Joseph Cullinan, a Texas oil tycoon.
