After two years on the market, the grandiose Beverly Hills property known as Villa Firenze is heading to auction — and it's about to make history for its exorbitant price tag. This week, Concierge Auctions announced in a blog post that it will be teaming up with Jeff Hyland and Rick Hilton of Hilton & Hyland to auction off the estate next month.
Bidding will start on January 26th, 2021 and last until February 2nd, 2021. Buyers may digitally bid from anywhere in the world via Concierge Auctions’s online marketplace. Once the sale has closed, this will be the most valuable residential property to ever sell at auction. The home is set to list for $160 million and will go to the highest bidder.
Not in the know about Villa Firenze? The expansive, 28,660-square-foot estate was designed to make guests feel like they're in a quaint Italian village. It puts the Bachelor mansion to shame, and it might just be the closest thing you'll get to a palace in the United States.
The property is located on its own street at 67 Beverly Park Court, Villa Firenze. Behind the gates, the grounds boast a gorgeous courtyard surrounded by lush 40-foot-tall Canary Island palms. There's even space for up to 30 cars.
With that much parking, it's no surprise that the home has so many large and formal gathering areas to host guests.
Behind this architectural masterpiece is award-winning builder William Hablinski, who built the home in 1998. In total, the house comprises 13 bedrooms, 17 full bathrooms, and 8 half bathrooms. Design details include: marble and stone flooring, arched doorways, and numerous fireplaces throughout.
Outdoor amenities include a walking trail around the estate's perimeter, a resort-sized swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a pool house, and a tennis court with nighttime lighting. There are also three guest residencies separate from the main house.

Previously owned by billionaire Steven Udvar-Hazy, Villa Firenze was put up for sale in 2018 with a listing price of $165 million. With no luck, it's been queued up for auction in hopes of reaching a larger audience. The home is available for in-person showings by appointment or private virtual showings. You can learn more here.
