CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Rock groups Coheed & Cambria and The Used will hit the road together on a co-headlining tour in August, and they’ll arrive in Cleveland for a show at Jacobs Pavilion on Sunday, Sept. 12. Pop-punk group Meet Me @ The Altar is set to open.
Tickets to the concert will go on sale on June 18 on Live Nation’s website, with presales available.
The two bands have new tunes to share with audiences. The Used released its eighth album “Heartwork” in 2020, and last year Coheed & Cambria teamed up with Rick Springfield for “Jessie’s Girl 2,” a song that serves as a sequel to Springfield’s hit 1981 song “Jessie’s Girl.”
Beyond these recent projects, the two bands will revisit some of their most acclaimed releases on their upcoming tour. Coheed and Cambria will perform masterfully composed metal songs from its string of conceptual releases that stretch back to 1995, while The Used showcases its status as an emo-rock icons with albums like “In Love and Death,” “The Used” and “Lies for the Liars.”
