Selling a second-hand car can sometimes be an arduous labour.
Posting an advert, taking phone calls from tyre kickers and making the time to allow for potential buyers to visit and test drive can take up plenty of your time.
But not if you own one of the fastest selling motors, we can exclusively reveal.
That's according to one of the nation's biggest used car marketplaces, which says the quickest selling model is a German SUV that - on average - is advertised for just 11 days before a buyer is found.
The 10 fastest selling used cars of the last 12 months REVEALED: If you own one, don't expect it to take long for you to find a buyer
The car with the shortest selling time of all is BMW's X1.
The compact SUV flies off forecourts in just a week and a half, it claims.
The data is based on the average selling time recorded on one of the leading used car online marketplaces between June 2022 and June 2023.
BMW's X1 has the fastest selling time, according to the data. On average, Auto Trader says the compact German SUV finds a new owner in just 11 days
By measuring how quickly each vehicle is removed from its platform after an ad was first set live, the company has worked out which are the 10 easiest to shift models.
And all of them are moved on - on average - in less than 15 days.
That compares to an average across all models of just over a month on sale (34 days), it said.
While this is good news for owners of the fastest-selling models, for potentially buyers looking to get their hands on one it suggests you'll have to move fast - and make a good offer - to secure one of these cars before someone else does.
All but one of the models in the list (Ford's Galaxy) are classed as 'nearly new', meaning they are less than a year old.
The short selling periods is also a result of the ongoing shortage of new vehicles, with demand for the used market at record high levels since the pandemic.
Second in the list behind the BMW X1 is Lexus' own compact SUV - the hybrid NX350h, which takes an average of just 12 days to move on.
kia's Ceed hatchback and Sportage SUV, Honda's Civic family car, Audi's EQ2 fast SUV and Jaguar's posh E-Pace tie for joint third spot, all taking an average of 13 days to sell.
Dacia's Duster, one of the most affordable family cars on the market is joint eighth for short selling times with Ford's Galaxy MPV, which is a favourite among big families with limited vehicle choice and also taxi firms and shuttle businesses.
Taking the final spot in the top 10 is the DS 3 Crossback, averaging 15 days on the second-hand market until a buyer is found.

If you own a year-old Kia Ceed, you can expect to sell it within 13 days, says Auto Trader

Honda's Civic has been a popular choice in Britain for decades. 'Nearly new' examples can find a new keeper in 13 days on average
Commenting on the findings, Erin Baker, editorial director at Auto Trader, said: ‘With nine of the 10 fastest-selling cars in the UK over the last year aged under 12 months old, the shortfall in brand-new car supply continues to have a big influence on car buying decisions.
‘Although the supply of new cars is slowly improving, many would-be, brand-new car buyers who aren’t prepared to wait are preferring to turn to the second-hand market for ‘nearly-new’ alternatives.
‘It’s also interesting to note that hybrid models made up the majority of the fastest sellers.
‘Fully electric prices are softening, but for many, they aren’t quite in reach yet, so for those car buyers who still want great economy and lower emissions than traditionally fuelled vehicles but without the price tag, hybrids are a good option.’
The Audi SQ2 is another car that takes only 13 days on average to sell after first being listed online
Jaguar's E-Pace is its smallest SUV. The compact model also takes only 13 days to find a new owner, according to the data
Auto Trader says it takes only 2 weeks (14 days) on average to sell the popular budget-friendly Dacia Duster
Big families have a very limited choice of cars with very few quality large MPVs available. One of them is the Ford Galaxy, which is why they sell on average in 14 days
The 10th fastest-selling car is the DS3 Crossback, which likely attracts second-hand buyers with its unique looks and low sale price. They shift in 15 days on average, Auto Trader reckons
