Boebert used campaign money at bar owned by handsy 'Beetlejuice' date - New York Post

Rep. Lauren Boebert’s reelection campaign shelled out hundreds of dollars to a bar co-owned by the man she was seen fondling last month during a Denver performance of “Beetlejuice.”

The campaign for Boebert (R-Col.) spent $317.48 for an event in late July at the Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar in Aspen, Col., according to FEC records.

The “eccentric” rep. said she briefly dated Quinn Gallagher, co-owner of Aspen bar. The two split shortly after their frisky vaping behavior at a “Beetlejuice.”

The 36-year-old congresswoman suggested she and Gallagher parted ways due to the fact that he was a Democrat.

“All future date nights have been canceled and I learned to check party affiliations before you go on a date,” Boebert told TMZ shortly after the handsy date.

Boebert, no stranger to controversy, was booted alongside Gallagher from the Denver showing of “Beetlejuice” for causing a disruption in the audience.

Footage showed the mom of four blowing a plume of vape smoke into the air and groping her male companion’s crotch mid-show. Gallagher was also seen fondling her breasts.

Officials later claimed that the couple flouted theater policy by taking pictures and were subject to complaints from those who sat around them.

Boebert had filed for divorce from her husband, Jayson, back in April. A month prior, she revealed that her son Tyler, 17 at the time, impregnated a girl.

The Colorado congresswoman has since struck a relatively conciliatory tone about the ordeal.

The congresswoman also has a number of arrests.

Initially, her campaign defended Boebert’s behavior, but then after footage surfaced, she struck a more conciliatory tone.

“I was a little too eccentric. I am very known for having an animated personality. Maybe overly animated personality,” the rabble-rouser told One America News Network last month.

Her campaign did not immediately return a request for comment from The Post.

During the third quarter which spans from July to September, Boebert’s campaign hauled in $853,840, FEC filings show. Her campaign is listed with $1,434,675 cash on hand.

Her chief Democrat foe Adam Frisch, claims to have raked in $3.4 million.

Frisch, 56, narrowly lost to Boebert by a measly 546 votes.
