Pregnant mum is left in tears after her $66 baby shower cake arrives looking very different than expected

A pregnant mum who ordered a $66 (USD $45) cake for her baby shower was left in tears after it arrived looking nothing like the photo.
The woman is expecting her third child and ordered a dessert made from cupcakes featuring a fondant top in the shape of a baby bodysuit.
But instead she received what was described as a 'cheaper' version of the advertised cake and shared an image on Facebook.
'I'm crying, my baby shower is tomorrow,' she wrote.
Despite the frustrating situation, other mums offered their advice on how to salvage the cake before the event. Others thought the mum was overreacting.
'It can definitely be saved!! Maybe add some blue edible pearls to the dots and white ones across the leg part?' one woman suggested.
Others criticised the baker for 'messing up' the dessert.
'Wow it was really a simple tasks and they completely butchered it,' one wrote.
'It's a very simple design to mess up!!! And I'm seriously hoping you at least requested blue?' another said.
But a third added: 'It isn't that bad. No one will remember the cake.'
Another encouraged the mum to 'enjoy the event' and the cake issue 'isn't that serious'.
Someone else added how the cake will be enjoyed regardless of how it looks.
'It looks like the photo on the right [the advertised image] and honestly everyone will pull that cake apart and ruin it anyways since it's all cupcakes,' another added.
It follows after another woman left the internet in stitches after sharing a video of the cake she received for her mum and dad's 30th wedding anniversary.
Megan wanted a gorgeous sponge cake in the shape of a '30' with icing on top and decorations, but instead she received a cake that barely resembled what she had in mind.
In a now-viral video the Irish nurse shared an image of what she wanted compared to what she received - and thousands were left in disbelief.
It's fair to say she was less than impressed with the 'failed' attempt at what is deemed to be a 'simple' request.
Rather than looking like the number '30' the '3' looks like a sideways 'm' and the '0' doesn't even have a hole in the middle.
The baker also decided to place the frosting on the rim of the cake with tiny white edible roses.
In the caption of the video Megan also used the hashtags 'cake fail', 'go wrong' and 'funny'.
