LUTZ — Even though it’s not open for business yet, Tammy Mencia has been getting e-mails on a daily basis from excited customers wanting to know when Nothing Bundt Cakes is opening.
"That’s a great sign," said Mencia, co-owner.
In March 2017, husband and wife Ralph and Tammy Mencia opened Nothing Bundt Cakes in Carrollwood, and now the duo is set to open their second location at the Shops of Wiregrass. It is slated to open in mid to late July.
Nothing Bundt Cakes offers 10 flavors of freshly baked bundt cakes, including top sellers red velvet, chocolate chocolate chip, lemon and white chocolate raspberry. Confetti is a new flavor that was recently added to replace cinnamon.
The bundt cakes come in 10-inch and 8-inch sizes, and smaller options are available. The bundtlet serves 1-2 people and can be gift wrapped in towers of two or three bundtlets. There are also bundtinis, which are bite size bundt cakes that are sold by the dozen.
The cakes are adorned with thick frosting petals, made with velvety cream cheese and real butter. Cakes can be decorated for any occasion, and they can be ordered online or purchased in store.
The bakery also offers a retail area that sells gifts such as candles, cards and mugs. Free cake samples are available.
Nothing Bundt Cakes is located at 28354 Willet Way at the Shops at Wiregrass. For more information, visit nothingbundtcakes.com.
