CNY’S MOST EXPENSIVE HOME SALES IN 2020: The pandemic caused an unusually hot seller’s market in the Syracuse area in 2020. Fewer houses went up for sale, but buyers still took advantage of historically low interest rates to snatch them up at high prices. See which CNY school districts are fully remote: More than half of Central New York public school districts – 35 of 64 districts – have stayed fully remote coming off the holiday break, according to a survey by Syracuse.com and The Post-Standard. In Onondaga County, however, schools have taken a different approach.

Public forums on police reform begin this week: Police departments in Onondaga County are joining together to host Zoom forums throughout January as part of New York’s police reform laws, signed into law last year.
