Can you spot the cake on the shelf? Baker wows thousands with realistic product disguised as supermarket buy at Woolworths
- Melbourne baker Tegan 'Tigga' Maccormack tricked thousands
- She made a realistic cake and placed it on the shelf at Woolworths
- In a video, Tegan asked fans to 'spot the cake' before revealing the real dessert
A talented baker known for making extraordinary cakes has left fans scratching their heads after asking others to 'spot the cake' on a supermarket shelf.
Tegan 'Tigga' Maccormack, from Melbourne, posted a video walking in front of a shelf at Woolworths full of canned fish and bottled oils.
After sharing the now-viral clip, many had a quick guess at which product was made from dessert. Majority found it difficult to identify the incredibly realistic cake, while others miraculously guessed correctly.
Tegan revealed it was in fact a large 4L tin of Moro Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Olive Oil positioned on the bottom shelf among similar products.
'WHERE IS IT?!?! I can't find it,' one person commented on the video, another added: 'I think it's that one oil bottle.'
'Imagine if it's a tuna tin,' another added.
A fourth said: 'Is it the Moro can? it looks a big different in the colour and it's at the back. idk.'
'Green Moro tin on the left. The colour is giving it away,' another commented.
In a second video, Tegan revealed which product was made out of cake by picking up the giant Moro oil tin and taking a bite into it with two hands.
The giant cake looked identical to the $48 product and beneath the edible label was a sponge cake and pink icing.
Funnily enough, the cake version of the product even scanned at the self-service checkout.
The 'spot the cake' gag is part of an ongoing series Tegan has been doing to show off her skills and create a fun game with her audience.
She also shared a third video demonstrating how she made the dessert.
'It was so tall I thought I thought it was going to fall over while decorating it. Luckily it didn't but it was a challenge - even just getting it into Woolies and hiding it on the shelf was very nerve wracking,' Tegan said.
The cake itself was made to celebrate Moro's new-look packaging.
Previously Tegan has also made a Vegemite jar, Kmart travel mug and a white plastic jar of skincare that all look exactly like the real products.
Tegan has been baking cakes for more than 10 years and co-founded her business Cake For Days Katie in 2017.
