Ever since the Russo brothers took on their first MCU picture with Captain America: The Winter Soldier, their mark on the mega-franchise has been undeniable. Since then, they've helmed Captain America's followup Civil War, and the two biggest crossover events in film history, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
Now, to celebrate Anthony Russo's 49th birthday, the official Russo brothers' Twitter account posted an image of his custom-made birthday cake.
Patterned after the poster for Infinity War, the cake does one better by replacing Anthony Russo's head with every single hero and villain on display. He was even color-corrected for the Hulk and the handful of cosmic characters like Gamora and, of course, Thanos himself. The message itself was even in an Avengers-appropriate font.
Currently, the filmmaking siblings are hard at work keeping Endgame as spoiler free as possible -- as evidenced by tonight's extra-short Super Bowl teaser. However, the duo did recently make some waves by assuring fans that the X-Men will be folded into the MCU at some point, thanks to Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox.
In addition to their extensive work with Marvel movies, the brothers Russo are currently producing two action movies featuring MCU alum; 17 Bridges with Chadwick Boseman, and Dhaka with Chris Hemsworth. On the small screen, the two are serving as executive producers on the adaptation of the '80s comic book classic Deadly Class, which airs every Wednesday night on SYFY.
Happy birthday, Anthony Russo! We hope you got some much-deserved rest and relaxation to go with that sweet Infinity War cake!
