The average home on the most expensive street in Coventry and Warwickshire costs a staggering £1 million.
At least, that proved to be the case last year, when looking at the average cost of house sales on each and every street across the region.
Unsurprisingly, the best of the bunch were found in Warwickshire, specifically, Stratford-Upon-Avon.
The two most expensive streets across the entire county were found here.
Top of the pops was Purbeck Close, where six sales were registered on the Land Registry in 2019 - with the average price of £1,027,500.
Second most expensive was Tiddington Road, with an average sale price of £950,000 - helped by the most expensive individual house sale across the entire region last year, as a property here sold for £2,250,000 in November.
Rounding off the top three was Warwick New Road in Leamington Spa, with an average price of £930,000.
What about Coventry?
In Coventry meanwhile, the most expensive street last year was Cromwell Lane.
The street which runs from Burton Green to Tile Hill saw an average sale price of £585,000.
Second most expensive was Sixpence Close, with an average price of £500,000.
Third most expensive went to Oak Lane - which had an average price of £440,000.
It is worth noting that only streets on which there were three sales or more were eligible on this list.
As a result, some streets, such as Gibbet Hill Road in Coventry do not feature, despite seeing properties selling for £1,020,000, and £907,000 last year.
Across England and Wales
The most expensive street in England and Wales in 2019 was Ashburton Place in Mayfair, where homes go for an average of £17.5m.
There were 1,176 streets in England and Wales where the average price was £1m or more, down from 1,246 in 2018, 1,458 in 2017, and 1,451 in 2016.
The least expensive street in England and Wales was Kenilworth Court in Washington, Sunderland, where homes sold for an average of £18,750 in 2019.
Figures are based on data from the Land Registry, which lists the price paid for every residential property bought at market value which are then registered. The data includes buy to let sales, repossessions, and property bought through companies.
