The hush-money trial against former President Donald Trump was a graphic example of a kangaroo court.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg ran for office on the pledge he would indict Trump. Judge Juan Merchan is a supporter of and donor to President Joe Biden with an outrageous bias and conflict of interest. Democratic clients of Merchan’s daughter raised money off the Trump trial. A prosecutor for the trial was Biden’s No. 3 at the U.S. Justice Department, Matthew Colangelo.
A guilty verdict seemed baked in the cake. It would take a very naive person to believe the trial was on the up and up. The only thing criminal I saw was the trial itself. It was a page from the playbook of Russian President Vladimir Putin: You don’t need to win an election; just lock up your opponent.
We are the laughingstock of the world. Despite Biden’s gloating over the guilty verdict and the prospect of locking up Trump, nothing changed. We still have crushing inflation with a Big Mac now considered a luxury. The price of food has gone through the roof with some items up over 20% since Biden took office. During Biden’s term, energy prices jacked up, with no end in sight. Too many Americans are quickly running down their savings and maxing out their credit cards just to keep up with everyday expenses.
With the Green New Deal, Inflation Reduction Act, Build Back Better, and Bidenomics, it’s turtles right down the line. Our president can’t seem to get past go, and the American people are being dragged across the coals.
