Chicagoans love Portillo’s and, perhaps more than any other menu item, they love the restaurant’s chocolate cake.
It’s only right, then, that Portillo’s will be offering a deal on its beloved cocoa cake to celebrate the restaurant’s 55th birthday next week.
On Wednesday April 4, customers can get a slice of chocolate cake for only 55 cents with the purchase of any entree. A sandwich, hot dog, entree salad, or ribs would all qualify as entrees in this case, according to the press release. The deal is only available to dine-in or drive-thru customers, not online, delivery or catering orders.
The deal will be available at all Portillo’s locations April 4 for as long as supplies last. Do I hear “Chicago dog and chocolate cake for breakfast,” or is that just in my head?
