An accused drug trafficker lived large off heroin proceeds, even treating her brother and fiancé to decadent birthday cakes — one of which was decorated in 24K gold, according to federal authorities in Brooklyn.
Clarissa “Clari” Vasquez, 30 — who was indicted with five other alleged traffickers Wednesday — lived the high life and then bragged about it in social-media posts, according to officials.
Enrique “Chiquito” LaPorte, Zaida Lopez, Philippe Media, Carlos Mateo and Vasquez were indicted alongside three other alleged drug traffickers who were arrested last July in the family-run scheme that has links to a Mexican drug cartel.
The group allegedly operated out of Brooklyn and Queens from January 2010 through February 2015 and are charged with selling hundreds of kilos of heroin each year, according to court documents.
