Dallas Is Getting An NYC Dessert Pop-Up With The Tastiest Layered Crepe Cakes - Narcity

Somebody pinch me; I think I’ve died and gone to crepe heaven. If you haven’t heard about Lady M Cakes, you’re in for a berry sweet treat! The iconic, NYC-based Lady M Cake is coming to Dallas for three days only for the launch of their Spring 2020 Pop-Up Boutique Tour.

The spot will be in town Friday, March 6 from 3 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, March 7 from noon to 5 p.m.; Sunday, March 8 from noon to 5 p.m.

Head over to 139 Payne Street to satisfy your sweet tooth with one of their signature creamy, melt-in-your-mouth, slices of heaven. For those of us with a larger appetite, the 7” and 9” cakes are also available.

Run, don’t walk because these delightful desserts are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Clients are encouraged to pre-order large cakes. You may order by the slice in-person as long as supplies last.

Their unique blend of classic French bakery techniques mixed with a delicate Japanese touch has earned this beloved brand a strong cult following. These paper-thin, hand-made crepes are stuffed with a light, whipped pastry cream and are layer upon layer of delicious goodness.

Topping the menu this weekend is the original Lady M creation, the Signature Mille Crepe that's globally recognized as a paper-thin crêpe cake layered with whipped pastry cream.

Other cult favorites available for purchase this weekend include their best-selling Green Tea Mille Crepe topped with an authentic, high-quality Japanese matcha powder.

Treat yo' self to the uber fancy Earl Grey Mille Crepe which mindfully infuses crushed tea leaves into several sections of the cake, into each of the pastry cream layers, as a liberal glaze, and circling the surface of the cake.

The Pistachio Mille is almost too pretty to eat. Almost. This sweet treat is made with the highest-quality Californian pistachios and then whipped into light pastry cream, and layered between the fine handmade crepes.
