Salt & Straw, Portland’s quirky and beloved ice cream shop, is becoming a teenager (the big one-three). To celebrate, it is releasing a brand new flavor of ice cream cake that will be on its menu year-round called The Cake.

If you’re thinking, ‘I didn’t know that Salt & Straw did ice cream cakes,’ you’d be sort of right. The company released two flavors for the holidays at the end of 2023 which, according to a press release, sold out in just six hours.
