Phones 4u founder John Caudwell has turned two mansions in Mayfair into one huge property, which has been valued at £250 million - the UK's most expensive private home.
The 68-year-old bought the two homes in 2012 for £87 million, before totally renovating them and adding more than £160 million worth of value to it.
The huge property has a ballroom, 15 bedrooms and eight floors, spanning 43,000 sq feet. It's about the size of 55 London flats and over double the size of the Royal Albert Hall.
Of course, you need something to fill said rooms. The house includes five kitchens, a nightclub, a spa complex, theatre and an underground stacker for eight cars.
As revealed in last year's Channel 4 documentary Britain's Most Expensive Home, the interior decor of the home is just as impressive. Think loads of marble, mosaics and bespoke carpets, and you're part way there.
That is, before you get to the rooftop conservatory filled with tropical plants, a river and fish - all inspired by his love of Thai food.
Speaking to Luxury London about the four year project, Caudwell said: "It's a project that offers the combination of creativity, pleasure and profit. And the third one of those is, believe it or not, the least important.
"I wouldn't have done it if there's wasn't profit at all in it - I'm not interested in being a busy fool. It's commercial, but it's also transformative, and my primary motivation is to make ugly places into beautiful ones.
"It's not philanthropic exactly, but I am horrified by horrible architecture - many of the buildings that went up in the 1960s and 70s.
"It damages the visual environment, and people's view of London. We need buildings that in 500 years' time people will still think are beautiful. Does that mean a certain style? Absolutely.
"It's classical and richly detailed, which I feel is most people's idea of a beautiful building. And when the world's super-rich want a home, they want it to have those [aesthetic] layers."
But despite his riches, Caudwell is also a philanthropist and uses his huge second home for good.
His main residence is in Staffordshire, near to where he's from, but the London home is mainly used for his charity - Caudwell Children, which supports disabled children and their families.
He said he wants to use the property for gala evenings and charity meetings.
