What would it cost to buy a trophy home in each of Oregon's 36 counties? Here's a photo gallery of top residential properties for sale, from urban settings to rural acreage.
A Corvallis mansion has 24-karat gold-plated fixtures and crystal chandeliers while an oceanfront Gold Beach estate comes with a private helipad.
Often, the most expensive listing is a farm or ranch, and real estate agents explain that the asking price is based on business opportunities, including dividing some of the acreage.
We also list the median list price for each county, which is the point in the middle in which half of the properties sell at a higher price and the other half at a lower price.

Baker County: Median home is listed at $220,000
Baker County's most expensive residential property for sale: 14806 Mill Creek Lane in Baker City is listed at $1.9 million.
The ranch-style house on Mill Creek Ranch with 296.94 acres that border national forest land on two sides has more than 240 acres of timber and 40 acres of irrigated pasture divided in four separate areas.
The house has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, and there is a four-stall barn with a tile-floored office and shower room. The wash stable and tack area have drive-through doors.
