Atlanta’s most expensive townhome includes six-car garage, $500K discount - Curbed Atlanta

Amid the high-dollar splendors of Peachtree Road, in a Buckhead hot zone of deluxe high-rise living, a townhome property at Waldorf Astoria’s base is being marketed as a once-in-a-lifetime chance.

“There never has been, and there likely never will be, anything quite like this exceptional opportunity,” reads the Hirsh Real Estate promotion, via Buckhead.com. “This villa far exceeds developer specifications,” and despite having been finished in 2018, it comes “in better-than-new condition... pristine and ready for immediate move-in.”

Does the townhome—the priciest in all of Atlanta right now at $3.75 million—live up to its five-star billing? Let’s see.

The numbers certainly impress, beginning with a garage beneath the property, serviced by its private elevator, with room for a fleet of six vehicles.

As townhomes go, that might be a record.

Elsewhere are three private terraces, one manicured garden, and a 24-hour concierge that helps guard the place, along with biometric security.

Designed by Boxwoods, the villa’s front yard, so to speak, includes a stone path, water feature, row of apple trees, and a biometric-secured gate.

There are four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms among 4,589 square feet, with every inch of it customized by noted designer Phoebe Howard and her team, per the listing. The overall style, you might say, befits the hotel brand.

Villa 2 initially graced the market in September; a $500,000 price cut in recent weeks has brought it down to its current ask. (It’s also worth nothing the monthly HOA commitment, which is comparable to several plebeian mortgage notes, is $3,416.)

It’s one of just two Atlanta townhouses seeking more than $3 million right now, and the asking price exceeds the closest competitor’s by $550,000.
