MIAMI GARDENS — Miami is an expensive city. The Super Bowl is an expensive event.
So, it should come as no surprise to anyone that the cheapest ticket for the championship game between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium still costs a pretty penny. As of about 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon a few hours before kickoff, the cheapest ticket came in at more than $6,000.

But what about once ticket-buyers get into the stadium and want to buy something to eat?
It’s not quite as bad as you’d think.
It’s not quite a Masters-level discount, but food prices look about the same as they would on a typical Sunday at MetLife Stadium or Lincoln Financial Field.
