A Piece of Cake Sold Out of Stock After BTS Wore It in “Euphoria”

BTS has officially reached true style icon status. While we already knew that they were impeccable dressers, this week they took it a step further — well, at least their fans did.

In their new video, “Euphoria,” J-Hope and Jungkook both wear pieces from a South Korean brand called A Piece of Cake. J-Hope wears a blue-and-orange-striped long-sleeved T-shirt, and Jungkook rocks a bright-yellow jacket with a black collar. According to the brand, these styles have now completely sold out.

In a statement from A Piece of Cake in one of its newsletters, it wrote, “It was so great to see them rocking our stuff with such swagger. Thank you BTS for showing this much love.” It seems that the brand was so caught off guard by the inclusion and subsequent demand that it quickly sold out of the items worn by the group. As part of the statement, it clarified that “to satisfy all the demand we had, we started reproducing these two items,” promising that “it might take a few more days for it to get shipped to you […] We would like to thank you all who showed love and patience.”

While the band has never worn the brand in any of its public appearances before, the collection, which is filled with colorful jackets and statement tees, seems right up its alley. A Piece of Cake launched in 2015 as a Korean streetwear brand. Much of its stock is filled with baseball caps, oversize tees, and cropped jackets—all in a wide range of color options to suit your every mood.
